This five-day refresher course No.666.07 - 'Control Work by GNSS using CORS Network' provides practical and theoretical exposure to GNSS and CORS-based control surveying. It covers basics of Geodetic Datum and Reference frames, GNSS fundamentals and observation methods, GNSS data downloading and processing through the SOI CORS Portal, CORS applications, RTK/NRTK survey techniques, and CORS architecture, specifications, site selection and maintenance. The course combines classroom sessions, demonstrations, laboratory exercises and hands-on field practice.

This course provides essential knowledge and practical skills for collecting, verifying, standardizing, and managing geographical names. It also covers multilingual script conversion, digital gazetteers, and GIS-based integration of place names with audio information.
